New Orleans

I just came back from my New Orleans trip, and i LOVED IT.
You could say New Orleans is a city that never sleeps, they have Mardi gars everyday, and they have drinking 24/7, which means you wont get arrested for carrying beer around the streets.

I really loved the city because it was just so creepy, there are tonnes of voodoo shops everywhere and have fortune tellers on the streets. But what i enjoyed looking at the most was the buildings they had, they were very old, and reminded me of France.

Bourbon street, was were mardi gras is held, during day time, its pretty much dead with a ball of hay rolling by. While at night time, lights are on, shops are open, and continuously drinking. I didnt stay very long. When time goes by and the night is late, people are drunk, people flash, people fight and do a whole lot of crazy shit that you think is impossible. But i am inlove with this city, for sure i would catch the next plane as soon as i turn 21. (America's drinking age is 21, while being 18 is old enough to get you gun licence)
My New Orleans trip was completed. I bough masks on Bourbon street for a ripped of price, since i was so excited at first and just wanted them. In the morning we went to a market and they were cheaper and bought some more.

Macaroons, i had to go to Sucre early to make sure they had all the flavours. The shop was so pretty as if an Easter basket exploded. The macaroons where so pretty and delicious, they even had gold leaf on it. They were selling it for 2 dollars each, but cheaper if you buy a box. They have a site, check it out http://www.shopsucre.com/

And last the muffulette, its basically a huge piece of bread stuffed with olives, salami, cheese and other stuff. It was originally created in some sort of olden grocery store that sells nothing but cans and pickled stuff. The store is small, but alot of people line up just to buy it. Its delicious.
